In a congenial, supportive atmosphere, award-winning poet and writer Jo McDougall, author of Daddy's Money: A Memoir of Farm and Family, will share tips on the art of writing memoir to intrigue readers and would-be publishers. Organization of material, storyline, characters, dialogue, using figures of speech, and writing concisely will be discussed to help memoir writers go beyond the personal to the universal.
