THREE AUTHORS AT EIGHTH DAY IN WICHITA

Three Kansas authors with stories connecting Kansas and the world will present programs at Eighth Day Books, 2838 E. Douglas in Wichita in January.

Newbery winner Clare Vanderpool will be talking about her new novel, Navigating Early, at 5 pm, with a reading and book signing at 7 pm.

Kansas Poet Laureate Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg will read from her non-fiction, Needle in the Bone: How a Holocaust Survivor and Polish Resistance Fighter Beat the Odds and Found Each Other, at 7 pm on Tuesday, January 22.

On Thursday, January 31, Wichita State University Professor of Public History Jay M Price will present his latest book, Temples for a Modern God: Religious Architecture for Post-War America. Time for the reading is 7 pm.
